The blankets were super warm, perfect for cozying up. The morning views from the patio were jaw-dropping, the best spot for a cup of coffee. Bikram, the young man, was incredibly attentive and polite, always taking care of our food requests and answering the phone promptly. The rooms had excellent heating, keeping us nice and toasty. The location was excellent, although a bit tricky to find. Sadly, the weather didn't clear completely, but the room and balcony still offered lovely views. The terrace was a delightful place to relax in the sun. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The breakfast and other menu options were good. If you want a peaceful and serene vacation surrounded by nature, with breathtaking Himalayan views and the sound of birds singing from your balcony, this is the place to go. Thank you to the amazing staff for making us feel at home. We'll definitely come back. The room had a lovely view of the Himalayas, and the cafe was incredible, with a view of the ranges while enjoying a hot breakfast. The chef made delicious food. The rooms were cozy and welcoming after a day of hiking. The property is conveniently located close to the airport, and the airport pickup worked well. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a serene and calm holiday in the midst of nature.

I truly enjoyed the hotel! I had a wonderful experience here, everything was perfect, the location was fantastic next to the Himalayan foothills, the mountains, the terrace, meals and friendliness of people, and the hill in a building site. The room was large, provided with valley views and an amazing view, as for instance. Food was perfect and excellent; the staff were fairly friendly!

After spending a few days in Kathmandu and dying to get some fresh air, I wanted to travel to Nargarkot to be in the village and closer to the mountains. I quickly booked a room at Peaceful cottage & Cafe du mont in Nargarkot the night before and had no problems. I arrived with my friend and was immediately greeted by the hotel manager - Alex. If you want to feel like home, this is the place to be! Alex was quick at planning our day tour the day of our arrival and also for the following day. If there's anything you need, he will make it work. You will be greeted warmly by the hotel staff and Laksman the Hotel Chef. I had such a great time I was so sad to had to leave so soon. I wish I had stayed longer in Nargarkot and not in Kathmandu!! The room is big, running hot water, great breakfast, excellent price.... Accommodating staff...:) You can count on Alex and Laksman if you need anything or run into any issues!! Lastly - you will enjoy an amazing view of the hilmalayas from the balcony free of charge!! :) I would love to be back again not just because of the place but because of the people!!!
It was really cold at night - I was there in the winter and being up high. You will need to bring something warm to sleep in (Fleece).

4 of us stayed here for a night to have a glimpse of sunrise over the Himalayan and we were not disappointed. Our hotel guide Caron gave some of the best personalized service I ever had. The rooms were big and comfortable for a short stayover, the blanket were thick and effective against the cold weather. The kitchen dished out tasty food in a timely manner. They even setup a small fireplace to keep us warm in the chilly night. The best part was the view - on top of the hotel, there was a platform where you could get a 360 degree panorama view of the himalayan. Will be back shall I visit Nagarkot again - its best of value.
I woke up at 11pm in the night and had a walk outside the room. I was sure the temperature was negative, so prepare enough to keep yourself warm.

Caron, the boss, went above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were met. the service provided by the staff was outstanding, and the on-site food was excellent. the views of the Himalayan range, although partially obstructed by clouds, were awe-inspiring. the name peaceful cottage perfectly encapsulates the serene atmosphere, allowing guests to enjoy the breathtaking views and the tranquility of nature. the panoramic trail hike, which took about 3 1/2 hours, was an enjoyable activity for both adults and children.
It was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend staying here. Cons: Nothing to dislike.

We went on some epic hikes and scenic walks around Nagarkot, and the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the great outdoors. And guess what? They even have horseback riding and cycling options for those seeking an adrenaline rush! Plus, they offer a convenient area shuttle to nearby destinations. It's like a thrill-seeker's paradise!
The only thing we wished for was a bit more nightlife and party scene for young people like us. We were looking for some late-night fun and dancing, and while the hotel had a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, it didn't quite deliver on the wild party front.

The view from the rooms at Peaceful Cottage & Cafe Du Mont was absolutely breathtaking. We woke up to stunning vistas of the snow-capped mountains right from our bedside. It was truly a sight to behold and a perfect way to start our day. The clean and cozy rooms also added to the overall comfort of our stay. The staff was polite and attentive, taking care of any issues promptly. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was delicious. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for its exceptional views and peaceful atmosphere.
